A native of North Carolina, Megan began singing at a very young age with her father in church. She gained recognition for her singing in all-state chorus and community theatre during her high school years. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Megan holds a degree in Music Education with a concentration in Voice. She also studied Musical Theatre Performance at AMDA in New York City.
Since 2008 Megan has been performing professionally in Regional theatre and National Tours. Her favorite roles include the title role in Mary Poppins and Guenevere in Camelot.
When she's not performing, Megan is an avid photographer specializing in portraits and headshots. You can see her work on her photography website www.newdayphotographystudio.com. Megan lives in New York City with her husband, bass-player Matthew Rybicki and enjoys swing dancing, speakeasies, sushi, wine tasting, and sitting in cafes with a book at a good cup of coffee.
